Since the start of the pandemic, we've seen the progressive impact its had on our collective mental health. People, now so more than ever, are noticing they don't feel right. Whether it's stress, anxiety, fear, loneliness or something else—Covid-19's reach has affected us far beyond the physical.

In hopes of giving back, we decided to host a webinar on stress and anxiety during Covid-19, which includes tips and strategies to help people cope better with the increased stress and anxiety many of us are experiencing.

Webinar format:

  • Part 1 – All about anxiety: why we have it and what to do about it

I describe common ways anxiety affects us and its impact on our lives. Drawing from mindfulness and cognitive behavioral therapy approaches, I demonstrate how our emotions influence how we think and behave. (30-ish minutes)

  • Part 2 – Tips to help you deal

In addition to a guided exercise, I walk participants through strategies that can be practiced and applied immediately, helping you cope better during these difficult times (10-15-ish minutes)

  • Part 3 – Q&A

If anyone has specific questions, they can ask them anonymously and I will answer them during the Q&A portion of the webinar (10-20-ish minutes)

What to expect.

  • Gain a better understanding of anxiety and why it shows up

  • Learn some new ways to deal with anxiety more effectively 

  • Get some practical ideas on how to make the best of out #quarantinelife

What you'll need​.

  • An internet connection and an ability to stream video

  • An open-mind and willingness to learn new techniques and ways of thinking
