Janet Bedolla, LPCC

You may be feeling overwhelmed, unmotivated, and wondering if you will ever feel like yourself again. Finding someone you can trust and feel comfortable with exploring your challenges can feel even more overwhelming. It is my priority to earn your trust and adapt to your unique personality and needs as we work towards meeting your treatment goals at your pace. Together we will rediscover your strengths, become more familiar with your emotions, create healthy coping habits, and challenge negative thoughts to create a more positive perspective of your world and yourself.

It is my mission to provide quality care in English and Spanish to my clients and address issues that life brings about whether it be transition to a new phase of life, trauma from the past, generational and cultural patterns, understanding who you are, or creating a future you look forward to.

How I work…

We live in a fast-paced world and sometimes we forget to slow down and check in with what is happening with our body, heart, and mind. You may find that you may experience intense and overwhelming emotions, not have time to feel at all, or not understand why your thoughts and feelings conflict. It can be helpful to gain perspective from a non-judgmental, outside source to find the balance. That is where I come in.

I have worked with a diverse group of teens, families, and adults in a variety of settings including residential programs, community settings, and private practice. I support with eating disorders, phase of life transitions, anxiety, depression, women’s issues, cultural and assimilation issues, domestic violence, trauma, relationship issues, family issues, self-esteem, and the LGBTQ+ community. My approaches include cognitive behavioral, solution focused, strength based, relational, family systems, trauma informed, and mindfulness. My experience has affirmed my belief that treatment does not look the same for everyone and my approach will always reflect where you are at and what you need in the moment. Through our work together you can gain the peace and balance you deserve.
