Michelle Mohammadian, LMFT

As a clinician, I can understand it can be a process starting therapy. From personal experience, finding a therapist that aligns with your overall needs can be not only tiring but precarious. It takes courage and strength to be open to connecting with someone you have just met.

How I work…

My goal is to work collaboratively with clients in order to bring light to their authentic and best self. I am committed to providing a safe, supportive, and non-judgemental environment to help clients towards their personal goals of emotional wellness. My role as a therapist is to use empathetic listening and to develop healthy coping skills to support clients through the challenges in their life. I recognize that there is diversity in all clients' life experiences, cultural background, relationships, and identity, which is why I plan to meet each client where they are at in their own personal journey towards a better mental health. I have experience working with teens, young adults, adults, and families. I have experience in a variety of settings including: community mental health, schools, private practice, and child welfare. Additionally, I had the privilege of acquiring experience working with youth and adults that identify with the LGBTQIA+ community.

While working in these settings and within these populations I have supported clients with a variety of mental health needs including: trauma, anxiety, depression, codependency, and self esteem difficulties. With that being said, I realize it takes strength and determination to be open to working through the therapeutic process. I want to be there to support you in whatever your individual needs look like!
