Delaine Moore, MSW, ASW

There’s a difference between getting through life and feeling like it’s truly yours.

Maybe you're used to being the one who keeps going, even when you're overwhelmed, exhausted, or unsure of what you need. You may look like you're functioning on the outside while feeling disconnected from yourself underneath it all. Therapy can be a place to slow down, understand what you've been carrying, and make space for something different.

I believe you are more than what has happened to you, the ways you've learned to cope, or the struggles that brought you here. Together, we can make sense of the patterns that have kept you feeling stuck, reconnect with the parts of yourself that may have gotten lost along the way, and explore what a life that feels like your own might look like.

I became a therapist because I know how much can change with the right support. I believe we aren't defined by where we've been or how we've learned to survive. Helping others reconnect with themselves and find their own path forward is what makes this work meaningful to me.

Serving clients in-person at our Fair Oaks location, and providing online therapy throughout California.

How I work…

I show up with warmth, curiosity, and a genuine desire to understand you as a whole person. I believe you already carry strengths, wisdom, and resilience within you, even when those things feel hard to access. My role is to create a space where you feel safe enough to slow down, be yourself, and explore what you need without judgment.

Some sessions may focus on practical tools, while others may be about making sense of your experiences, noticing what's happening in your body, or exploring patterns that have kept you feeling stuck. We'll figure out what works for you together. My hope is that therapy helps you trust yourself more deeply, reconnect with who you are, and move toward a life that feels meaningful and your own.
