Kaelyn Inderbitzin, AMFT
Being human has a way of feeling heavy sometimes. We carry stories, emotions, and unspoken experiences that begin to weigh us down — until it becomes hard to tell where they end and we begin. Over time, we can lose our connection to ourselves, our voice, and our sense of direction. It can feel lonely, confusing, and deeply exhausting.
But you don’t have to navigate it alone.
I believe we are wired for connection — with others, yes, but also with our most authentic selves. Often, when life becomes overwhelming, that connection frays. My goal is to support you in rebuilding that inner relationship so you can move forward not just coping, but feeling grounded, empowered, and more fully you.
How I work…
Healing isn’t linear — and it certainly isn’t one-size-fits-all. That’s why I use a flexible, creative approach to therapy that honors the complexity of who you are. Through my background in art therapy, we’ll explore more than just what can be said — we’ll give voice to what’s felt, what’s been buried, and what’s waiting to emerge.
That might look like art, music, movement, journaling, or your own way of storytelling. Or, it might look like sitting together in stillness, talking through old patterns, or holding space for hard feelings. No two sessions are exactly alike, because no two people are the same. I move away from the traditional “therapist in the chair” model — and instead, I show up as a fellow human. I believe that healing is an act of remembering who you are, not fixing what’s “wrong.”
I also understand that creativity might not resonate with everyone — and that’s perfectly okay. You don’t need to be “artistic” for art therapy to be meaningful. In fact, many of my clients never pick up a paintbrush at all. What matters most is creating a space where you feel safe, supported, and free to engage in a way that feels authentic to you — whether that’s through conversation or creative exploration.

More About Kaelyn:
Kaelyn Inderbitzin is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist at Whole Wellness Therapy. Before becoming a therapist, she served as Whole Wellness’s first Care Specialist—supporting individuals as they began their therapeutic journey. Kaelyn’s path to art therapy began during her undergraduate studies, where she authored and published a mindfulness-based photography book. That creative project sparked her deep interest in integrating art and healing.
Kaelyn currently offers therapy services at a homeless shelter, where she leads art therapy groups and provides individual counseling to clients navigating complex trauma, grief, addiction and systemic barriers. This work has profoundly shaped her as a clinician—strengthening her ability to hold space for diverse experiences and approach healing with flexibility, humility, and relational trust.
Outside of therapy, Kaelyn enjoys doing absolutely anything with her husband and golden retriever. On weekends, her self-care rituals include sipping iced lattes at coffee shops, yoga in the park, and watching her favorite reality TV shows guilt-free.
