Designed to complement talk therapy by integrating the body into the healing process. You do not need any prior yoga experience, and the approach is inclusive, adaptable, and supportive of all bodies and backgrounds.

What To Expect

This one-on-one trauma-informed yoga session is tailored to support therapy clients in reconnecting with their bodies in a safe, compassionate, and empowering way. Grounded in trauma-sensitive principles, the session focuses on helping you build awareness of physical sensations, regulate the nervous system, and develop practical tools for grounding and resilience.

Sessions are held in a private, quiet space with no physical adjustments.

Each session is personalized to meet your current needs, whether you're seeking gentle movement, restorative stillness, breathwork, or guided meditation. You are always in control of your experience—offered choices, modifications, and space to honor your own pace and comfort.

Your Session May Include:

  • Grounding and orienting techniques

  • Gentle movement or restorative yoga postures

  • Breath awareness and nervous system regulation tools

  • Guided body scans or meditation

  • A focus on safety, self-agency, and present-moment awareness

    This small-group trauma-informed yoga class is designed for up to three participants, offering a more intimate and supportive environment where individual needs can be more closely honored. Grounded in trauma-sensitive principles, this practice focuses on creating a safe space for nervous system regulation, embodied awareness, and healing through movement and breath.

  • Small Group Format
    With a blend of gentle yoga, grounding techniques, breathwork, and guided meditation, each session supports participants in reconnecting with their bodies and cultivating tools for resilience. The small group format allows for more personalized guidance while still offering the sense of community and shared healing.

  • Single Session
    $155 for the group (2-3 people)

  • Prior to Participation
    No prior yoga experience is needed. This group is ideal for individuals currently in therapy or seeking body-based practices as part of their healing journey. The sessions are led by a trauma informed yoga teacher.

SARAH RAY, APCC

Sarah is an associate therapist at Whole Wellness Therapy. In addition to her education and clinical experience, Sarah brings a unique and diverse life experience that allows her to connect with others in a deeply empathetic way. Sarah is passionate about the mind-body-spirit connection and the belief that you cannot support one without supporting all three areas in your life. Her passion has been shaped by her experience as a mental health therapist as well as her background as a reiki practitioner, yoga teacher, and massage therapist. Sarah is committed to supporting individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, and life transitions.
