Therapist in Carmichael, CA

“We find ourselves, time and time again in a thousand disguises on the path of life.”- Carl Jung.

Life is full of twists and turns, joy and dread, but it’s worth it. The challenge we face every day is finding the inner strength and fire to put one foot in front of the other. Finding our way through life isn’t easy and whatever you are facing, that first step is essential.

Moving forward usually involves dealing with our emotions, which is no easy task. Emotions are core to our experience and play a major role in our relationships, whether it is with ourselves, others, or the world around us. Some of us experience our feelings more intensely and may at times become overwhelmed by them. Others may find their feelings rarely reach the surface leading them to feel cut off from their deepest selves. I enjoy helping people explore the emotional depths in a safe, judgement free, and protected space to allow for that deep work to happen within.

My journey to becoming a therapist started, like many, with admitting that I needed someone to help me make sense of my own feelings and experiences. As someone who tends to experience life through their feelings, I needed a new framework for finding meaning, worth, and value in the dark moments of my life.

My own therapy was like being initiated into the realm of the soul and it taught me how to be with others in the midst of their darkest moments while becoming a traveling partner in their healing process.

I know that it takes a good deal of courage to admit that you could use some help and it takes a great deal more to actually ask for it. Know that you're not alone in whatever brings you here today and know that hope can be found, even in the darkest moments.
