Therapist in Fair Oaks, CA
We all experience rough patches throughout our lives—some we can handle on our own, and others leave us feeling lost, wondering how we’re going to find our way back.
It can be really difficult to know how to work through life’s most challenging situations, significant crossroads, or unhealed wounds from the past—after all, the reality is most of us are managing full schedules, waking up to the pressures of work, social media, family and friends.
All of us can get disconnected.
We can often feel like our struggles overshadow our sense of self and our place in the world. The surfacing of early emotional bruises can magnify this feeling of overwhelm, making it even more difficult to sort through the tangles in life.
Reconnecting involves building a strong foundation to ourselves—to our values, strengths, and capabilities—which can be immensely empowering, and give us the self-confidence and tools we need to take on all the challenges life throws at us.
I have been a part of the mental health field since 2013 and have worked with clients and families of all walks of life.
Some of my specialties include:
Depression and anxiety
- Late life depression
Individuals with disabilities
I aim to support people in finding their own balance. I want to help you live mindfully and authentically, which is so often the key to building a solid sense of self, and leads to healthier connections—both within and to those around us.
Sometimes it takes a safe space to explore complicated parts of our past or present—a place to heal and learn and discover our resiliency—all while having strong, compassionate support along the way.
I believe in the power of authentic connection. I have been fortunate enough to witness firsthand the impact therapy can have on a person: how it can help create healthier connections to one’s self, family, friends and community—connections which ultimately shape our quality of life.
There is hope.
While my experience has taught me many important lessons, the most significant has been this:
Despite our deepest pains and our greatest challenges, we have an incredible level of resiliency and power within us.
Yes, the process of getting there can be tough—it often requires a lot of hard work, courage and determination. However, it's my belief that therapy can lead to tremendous healing, growth and transformation.
When you’re ready, we will work through the journey together, embracing both the struggles and the victories.
